The latter can be precarious, as we may inadvertently disturb them or even harm them when we build bonfires and use strimmers.<\/p>\n<p>We can however, create <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wildlife-gardening.org.uk\/default.asp?ftr=Features%5CProjects%5CHomes%5Chedgehog-040829.xml\" target=\"_blank\">purpose built houses<\/a> for them to ensure they stay safe from predators and accidents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Often heard snuffling around the garden on a summer evening, searching out all those juicy slugs.
