\u2018Masters of Light\u2019, an exhibition by professional photographers Mike Kipling, John Devlin and Brian Jobson, begins a run of photographic exhibitions at Sutton Bank National Park Centre \u2013 all inspired by the diverse landscape of the North York Moors National Park.<\/p>\n

Prints of varying sizes will be available to buy and entry to the exhibitions is free.<\/p>\n

\u2018Masters of Light<\/strong>\u2019 runs from 13 to 22 February and is followed by \u2018Northern Light\u2019<\/strong>, a collection of images from Ryedale-based photographers Janet and Richard Burdon, Tracey Philips and David Sault from 19 to 29 March.<\/p>\n

The series concludes with Chris Ceaser\u2019s \u2018Light on Land<\/strong>\u2019 from 1 to 16 April.<\/p>\n

Commenting on why he finds the North York Moors so inspiring, Chris Ceaser said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe North York Moors is a quiet and intimate place which offers stunning scenery throughout. The valleys, hills and open moorland offer unique photographic opportunities all year round depending on the light and the season.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From east to west and top to bottom, each part of this wonderful landscape has its own special characteristics that gives me a different perspective and a new challenge each time I visit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sally Smith, the North York Moors National Park Authority\u2019s Events and Exhibitions Coordinator, added:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are fortunate to have some wonderful views and iconic buildings and landforms in the North York Moors.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Each of our featured photographers brings their own subtle style and their stunning images will I\u2019m sure provide lots of ideas of different places to visit in the National Park.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sutton Bank National Park Centre is on the A170 between Thirsk<\/a> and Helmsley.<\/p>\n

It is open daily from 13 February from 11am to 4pm during February and from 10am to 5pm from March onwards.<\/p>\n
