Powerful telescopes are being set up to allow visitors to view wild Peregrine Falcons on the Tate Modern building in London. Our local Heron grabs a chance to feed as the icy waters of the Eden start to flow again. Over four weeks of below freezing temperatures resulted in our rivers freezing over for the first time in many years. The third Great Nut Hunt, recording Dormice in the British Isles, is to be launched by The People's Trust for Endangered Species and Natural England. Hazel nuts are a favourite food of the dormouse and can be found growing in our old hedgerows and woodland.
