Bittern numbers recovering according to research

Britain’s loudest bird, once extinct in the UK, has enjoyed its best year since records began, according to a new survey by the RSPB and Natural England. Whooper swans land early in Scotland

Is this a Southern Hawker dragonfly in north Cumbria

Measuring almost 10cm ( 5 inches) long, a green and black dragonfly has been spotted in woodland in north Cumbria.
