Autumnwatch is back

Autumnwatch returns to BBC TWO on Thursdays, from 7th October at 8.30pm to 9.30pm.

The eight week series will document the natural history around us during the autumn transition into winter and as per the previous seasons format will be followed immediately by half an hour of Autumnwatch Unsprung.

Chris Packham and Kate Humble will visit a different part of the country each week, whilst Martin Hughes-Games will feature viewers stories.

Simon King will be sadly missed this year as he pursues other interests but Gordon Buchanan is back and is joined by wildlife film maker Charlie Hamilton-James, of Halcyon River Diaries fame.

The team are keen to hear from their viewers and you can follow all the activity on the Autumnwatch blog.
