Loch Lomond and The Trossachs Nationals Park are undertaking surveys of both red and grey squirrels living in the National Park and you can help Rangers map out where they are by recording where and when you see them.
Also of interest are the habitats and behaviour of water voles and otters.
Water vole numbers have declined sharply over the last few decades and the rangers would like to find out just how many there are in the National Park and where they are living.
You can help by telling them where and when you see them.
Otter numbers numbers are increasing but in some areas they still remain vulnerable due to threats to their habitat and food sources. They are also liable to be killed on roads where there are road improvements and where traffic moves at ever increasing speed.
Survey forms can be downloaded from their website.
