Nature Table Campaign

Nature table courtesy of Country Living Magazine.

It’s important for children to connect with nature, which is why Country Living Magazine have launched our Bring Back the Nature Table campaign.

The aim is to see one in every primary school and for parents, grandparents and guardians to take children regularly to parks, fields and woodlands.

When I was younger (many moons ago) myself and some friends formed our own little nature group. Meeting on one saturday in the month, we would choose a subject found in one of our gardens or on a walk and draw and write about it, creating our own nature scrapbook.  It kept us occupied for hours and that was without the aid of digital cameras and computers.  A great idea for family days out.

If you have created your nature tables at school or a similar project at home or with friends then send us details and pictures using the “contact us” button.
